Hi, I'm Lachlan Pritchard. I've worked in pro shops across Victoria, Australia, including Eynesbury Golf Club and Mt Derrimut Golf and Community Club.

I started doing this for one simple reason: I was sick of closing competitions manually. I lived the reality of waiting for that last scorecard, manually adjusting handicaps, compiling the leaderboard, and copy-pasting emails to prize winners while the daylight faded and I just wanted to go home.

I knew the actual workflows: the difference between a morning comp and twilight, the specific ways Stableford results need to be formatted, and how clunky the legacy software systems can be to navigate. So I built a tool to do it for me. That first tool, Comp Closer, took over six months to develop and refine. Six months of testing against real competitions and making sure it worked the way a pro shop actually needs it to.

And once that first job was off my plate, the ideas kept coming. Social group bookings that organise themselves instead of clogging up the inbox. A digital receptionist that handles routine enquiries so the phone stops pulling you away from the counter. Ways to put together marketing documents in minutes.

As a semi-professional athlete myself, I understand how much admin gets in the way of what you actually love about sport, and how much it matters when someone sorts it for you.

This isn't a massive corporate software platform trying to "disrupt the industry." It's practical, done-for-you tools built by someone who actually works behind the counter. No tech knowledge required. Nothing changes about how your club runs. The boring jobs just stop landing on your desk.
